HAV Induced Acute Cholecystitis in Children: Shift in Epidemiology

Background and Aim: Hepatitis A virus (HAV) is known to cause several extra hepatic complications including acute acalculous cholecystitis (AAC). Vaccination for timely diagnosis may prevent associated critical life-threatening complications.
